Bench warrant issued against prominent Lautoka lawyer

A bench warrant has been issued against prominent Lautoka lawyer, Iqbal Khan by the Lautoka Magistrates Court.

Khan was summoned to appear in a Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption case against Janardan Naidu who is an employee of Iqbal Khan & Associates, where he was to take the stand as a prosecution witness.

Naidu is charged on counts relating to forgery and the hearing got underway last week.
