Jasper athletes overcome many hardships
Despite the hardships and challenges the Jasper Williams High School athletes will take part in next week’s Coca Cola Games more determined compared to last year.

Jasper Williams Head Coach Antonio Raboiliku said most of the athletes went through hard times after Cyclone Evan hit Fiji late last year.

Meanwhile, Nadarivatu sisters Mereseini Naidau and Sereima Liku will lead the Jasperians next week after they helped the Lautoka based school to win 4 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze last year to claim third position on the overall standing.

Jasper, Suva Grammar, Bemana Secondary and Holy Cross College are expected to provide stiff competition to the defending Coca Cola Games champion Adi Cakobau School this year.

The Coca Cola Games will be held next Thursday and Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
