Flying Fijians Coach Ilivasi Tabua has called on the local based players taking part in the Pacific Rugby Cup competition, to lift their performance in the next few weeks of competition, if they are to be selected into the team for the Pacific Nations Cup.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Tabua who will be leaving our shores this morning to scout for overseas based players, has assured the local boys that places are still available in the team.
Tabua added that with only two rounds of competition left, the boys will really need to excel if they are to be selected.
The Pacific Nations Cup kicks off on 7th of June, when Fiji hosts Samoa in Lautoka while Tonga will travel to North Harbor to face the New Zealand Maori, and Japan will host Australia A.
