23-year-old Roneel Vikash Narayan of Tuatua in Labasa arrived late to the Fiji National University’s National Training and Centre graduation when all formalities were completed.
Narayan told Fijivillage that due to the bad weather in Labasa he arrived at 3pm yesterday but he was there to receive his awards as the Best Apprentice In Individual Trade in Automotive Electrical.
He dedicated his success to the support of his uncle after both his parents passed away when his was 12-years-old.
Meanwhile, 25-year old Elijah Kinmun Fong of Ba was awarded with the Overall Best Apprentice of the year 2012.
He was also awarded with the Best Apprentice in Individual Trade in Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
Fong was brought up by his mother and elders sisters in FSC in Ba when his father passed away when he was eight years old.
He said the support of the family make him successful in his studies.
104 apprentices graduated from FNU’s National Training and Productivity Center at the Nasinu campus today.
