Monasavu receives highest rainfall in last 24 hours
In the last twenty four hours Monasavu received the highest rainfall of 120mm.

According to Nadi Weather Office, Nausori recorded 34mm while Labasa and Savusavu recorded around 10mm of rainfall.

Meanwhile, the Waila, Waima and Vatuwaqa bridges near Monasavu is under flood waters and closed to all traffic.

The old Naqali bridge is also under two to three feet of water.

Rainfall has eased in the Division.

The Nadi Weather Office said a weak trough of low pressure remains slow moving over Fiji.
 
For today Occasional showers heavy at times is expected over eastern Viti Levu, Lomaiviti and Northern Lau group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.

Weather forecasters say afternoon thunderstorms may cause occasional heavy rainfall which may lead to localized flash flooding in some areas.

Weather is expected to improve later today.
