"Pump Up the Mandali" is the name of the Bollywood production that is coming to town in May.
At a press conference this morning, Fiji Audio Visual Commission Chairperson, Sharon Smith Jones revealed that local actors will get a chance to act in the Hindi feature film to be produced by Purple Post Productions of New Zealand.
Purple Post Production's Monty Issar said the movie will be targeted towards the large Fiji Indian communities all over the world and part of it will be shot in Ba, Sigatoka and Suva.
Issar also said that producers will be recruiting Indian and Fijian male and female actors.
The movie is about four boys who struggle to reconcile with their lives after floods devastate their village and their music hall ending their dreams of becoming professional musicians.
They win a contest that takes them to New Zealand and that's where the struggle begins.
