Official constitution consultations announcement this Friday

Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will make the official announcement on the constitution consultations this Friday.

It has been confirmed that Commodore Bainimarama will outline the principles, procedures and timeline for the formulation of Fiji's new constitution.

The announcement will be made at 9.30am Friday.

Commodore Bainimarama has already said that the new constitution will not have any race based policies and the new electoral system will also allow 18 year olds to vote.
