5 still in hospital after accident

Five people are still admitted at the Labasa Hospital following a collision between a bus and a twin cab at Naseakula village this morning.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said that the two drivers and 3 other passengers are still admitted.

Naisoro said that close to 30 students have been treated and released.

It is alleged the driver of the twin cab who is also at the hospital tried to overtake a bus near the Naseakula bridge when the accident occurred.

Investigations continue.
