37 families look forward to tap water
37 families look forward to receiving tap water as pipe installations will be laid from today in Lovu, Lautoka.

Resident Premila Henry said that the work did not take place last week due to some problems however pipes have been bought for the area.

Henry said she hopes to start receiving tap water from this week.

A group of officers from the military went to Lovu last week to inspect the ground after Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama visited the area two weeks ago and ordered that families be provided with tap water.

His visit comes after a resident Premila Henry wrote to the Prime Minister’s office about the problems faced by the residents who did not have tap water.
