Around 50 baby sharks were found dead on the beach of Nukulau Island off Suva yesterday.
A Fiji Navy boat visited the island yesterday afternoon and confirmed seeing around 50 dead baby sharks.
The Fisheries Department is expected to conduct investigation soon on how the sharks were washed ashore.
