Govt to relocate 200 families from settlements
The process of relocating more than 200 families from the Nakavika and Tawarua settlements outside Lautoka is now being undertaken by government.

Meeting the settlers from these two places, Divisional Commissioner Western Commander Joeli Cawaki said government is concerned about land they are currently occupying and wishes to reassure them that they will relocate them to another piece of land.

Cawaki added Government wants to see them own a piece of land so that they can construct their own house and enjoy the infrastructure.
