The historic Ivi tree at the Vodafone Triangle in Suva caught fire last night.
According to an eyewitness flames and smoke was seen rising from the tree around 11pm.
The National Fire Authority office in Suva confirm putting out the fire last night however they are yet to confirm the extent and the cause of the fire.
