It is a heart wrenching experience to watch your own child succumb to cancer.
Sina Kami mother of Tae Kami the 15 year old girl who had battled with a rare form of Cancer in the Jaw for 3 years was very emotional and struggled to explain her experience at the Fiji Cancer Society's Biggest Morning Tea initiative hosted by WWF and other Environmental Organizations.
Kami said when friends used to talk about the issue of cancer she did not take much notice of it, however that all changed when her own daughter was diagnosed with cancer.
Kami is also urging people to come out and share their stories because it could help others.
Sina Kami praised the Fiji Cancer Society's Biggest Morning Tea initiative as it allowed people to come together and talk about an issue that is rarely discussed.
