About 10 complaints are received daily relating to bad driver attitude.
The Land Transport Authority said these complaints are mainly about bad behaviour and rudeness by bus and taxi drivers.
LTA said it has come to their knowledge that bus drivers impatiently try to disembark passengers including those who are trying to get onto the bus and while doing so cause injury to the passengers while taxi drivers tend to choose a longer route to take instead of taking the shortest route available as requested by the passengers.
LTA chief executive officer Naisa Tuinaceva said drivers who are doing this will be severely punished by the law which may see them getting their licenses suspended or even vehicle deregistration if owners do not comply.
