A 26-year-old bus driver of Rakiraki who was involved in a fatal road accident in Karavi, Ba, which claimed the lives of three people pleaded not guilty to his charges in the Lautoka Magistrates Court today.
Sachindra Krishneel appeared before Magistrate Mosese Naivalu charged with three counts of causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of dangerous driving causing harm.
Krishneel has been released on $2,000 bail with two sureties and has been ordered to report to Rakiraki Police Station every Monday and Thursday between 4pm and 6pm.
He has been ordered not to interfere with the witness and not to reoffend.
A stop departure has also been placed on the bus driver.
The case will be called on 22nd January.
