Police 1 qualifies for eliminations

Police 1 has qualified for the eliminations of the Great Eight 7s tournament after beating Uluinakau 26-12 in its second pool match.

Laced with players like Sakenasa Aca, Sitiveni Waqa and Waisale Dau, Police 1 hammered Lelean Knights 35-10 in the first match.

Red Rock 1 has also made its place in the eliminations after beating Savu 38-0 and Tuva 26-0.

Meanwhile, Mala Young Boys which has Emosi Vucago in the team beat Saunaka 17-7.   

In other matches, Wardens Green beat Army 31-0, Redrock 2 beat Ratu Filise 14-7, Samurai Baracudas beat Police 2 7-0 and Navy beat Naikelemusu 17-12.

The pool matches continue at Lawaqa Park with the eliminations to start at 5.10pm.

The top eight teams from this tournament will qualify for the Coral Coast 7s which will be held from the 15th to 17th at Lawaqa Park.
