FRU HPU manager expected to be an expatriate
Fiji Rugby Unions High Performance Unit manager’s post is expected to be occupied sometime soon by an expatriate.

This is the confirmation from FRU Chief Executive Officer, Manasa Baravilala after the 40 applicants were interviewed last week with 4 applicants being short listed.

Baravilala added there were applicants from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, France with no locals considered for the post.

The post was vacant after former manager, Talemo Waqa’s contract expired on 30th December last year.

Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians will leave for the Europe this morning.

Fiji will play England next Sunday at 2:30am.
