2012 has seen the lowest annual road fatality toll for the last 25 years.
This is according to Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra who said 2012 also recorded the lowest motor accidents with 33 reports.
Mishra added the reduction in road fatalities is due to people’s willingness in taking traffic advice seriously.
Meanwhile, the 2012 death toll stood at 41 compared to 54 for 2011.
